Supanova 2023 + Alpha Update 1.1


Hey guys, 

Just a quick update here from the Blood Reaver team. With our Alpha 1.0 build being live for the last week, and exhibiting at Supanova2023 in Adelaide, SA  we've had time to take in a heap of your feedback. 

Some notable changes include:

  • Additional player feedback indicators on the HUD:
    • Health visualization
    •  Secondary weapon display
    • reworking our interaction system
    • Indication when your blood is low
  • Decreasing demon damage
  • Gamifying our Blessing & Pact names, with an additional pass on various icons across the game
  • Point gain/loss indication (everyone wants to see pretty numbers go)
  • The soul orb is now activated when walked into instead of an interaction
  • Added Blood spatter VFX with added visuals for critical hits!
  • Linking animations for melee attacks (now bound to V on keyboard/mouse)
  • Additional nav-meshing & collider fixes across the level

we really appreciate all the feedback we've been getting. It only helps us make the best experience possible, Please keep it coming we want to hear it all!

Keep a look out for the next update, and trust us there will be many in the weeks to come!
